December 17, 2005 - Nice apartment for sale in Torredembarra Tarragona Spain
We are selling our apartment in Torredembarra Tarragona for 215.000 €. It has a large living room, 3 large bedrooms, 3 balconies (1 outside and 2 inside), a nice kitchen, a large bathroom and a separate restroom. It is located in the centre of Torredembarra about 5 minutes walking from the beach! Good investment!
December 16, 2005 - Think twice before contracting ADSL from Jazztel!
Jazztel still hasn't solved the problems with our ADSL connection. It is taking more than a month now and we are very upset. Whoever reads this, think twice before contracting ADSL from Jazztel!
December 9, 2005 - Lissette's resume added in English and Spanish
Lissette's resume in English and Spanish has been added to our Website. Please note that the pages still need to be reviewed, there are probably some wrong translations and spelling errors.
December 6, 2005 - 1st poem added
Lissette finally had some time to add on of her poems called La Vida to the poems section of our website. Hopefully she will manage to add more poems soon..
December 5, 2005 - Jazztel ADSL still not working!!
After having spend more than half an hour on the phone waiting for an operator and half an hour explaining what the reported problem was, the Jazztel operator told me that they still didn't solve the problem with our ADSL connection. She also told us that Jazztel didn't know what was going on!!! Furthermore, another Jazztel operator explained that Jazztel closed the reported problem with the invoices without solving anything. Anybody knows a good ADSL provider in Spain?
December 3-4, 2005 - Another visit to Onno's family
Being without Lissette and very tired after the 1 week Finland business trip, the second weekend wasn't the same as the first. However, Onno still had a great time with his parents, brothers, nephews and Opa.
November 28, 2005 - Lissette's Iberia flight cancelled
Lissette wasn't very happy when her 06:40 Iberia flight to Barcelona was cancelled!! She was put on the next Iberia flight that was a couple of hours delayed. She was unable to go to the office and will probably loss 1 holiday.. Thanks Iberia !!
November 25-27, 2005 - Visiting Onno's family
The unplanned family visit was very nice. We had a family dinner with Onno's parents, brothers and nephews. Furthermore, we saw Opa (he is doing extremely well for his 89 years of age) and Jola and Kees.
November 21-24, 2005 - ITIL course
Onno took an ITIL course and had a tough time assisting the course late hours after work. The course content was ok and very well presented, however the course didn't teach anything new since ITIL literature already explains everything in detail. It was nice though to know some of the other participants and to find out that the official ITIL foundation and some of the practitioners certificates exam will be a piece of a cake..
November 21, 2005 - Unplanned family visit to the Netherlands
Onno has to go to Finland for a 1 week business trip and will fly to Helsinki via Amsterdam to stay 2 weekends with his family. We directly bought a ticket for Lissette so she could also be with Onno's family during the first weekend.
November 19, 2005 - No Christmas holidays in the Netherlands
Unfortunately, this year we will not go to the Netherlands for our Christmas holidays. We will go to Lissette's family in Spain during Christmas and New Year's evening.
November 17, 2005 - Phone works, ADSL doesn't
Incredible!! Telefónica solved the problem with the phone line after only 7 days! The phone is working again but unfortunately, ADSL isn't. Hopefully Jazztel solves the problem a bit more quicker than the problem we have with the wrong invoices they send us; they still charge us over 3 times more than they should for about a year now!! Does anybody knows a good ADSL provider in Spain?
November 10, 2005 - Phone line and ADSL don't work
Either Telefónica or Jazztel messed up. The phone doesn't work and we don't have ADSL. Being in Spain, this really worries us, because these kind of problems usually take a lot of time..
